The re-opening of the Ahmed Timol Inquest, Day 11, continues at the Gauteng Division, Pretoria on Monday, 31 July 2017 at 10:00 when two key witnesses will take the stand – Sergeant Neville Els (80) one of the interrogators at the time and Sergeant Joao Rodrigues (78) who was in the room with Timol when he allegedly “jumped”. The pair were subpoenaed to appear before the court. Proceedings continue the entire week and witnesses to testify also include Ronnie Kasrils who was with the South African Communist Party in London and Timol’s nephew, Imtiaz Ahmed Cajee
