The decision by the National Prosecuting Authority to re-open the inquest into the death of struggle hero, Ahmed Timol, continues to receive praise.
Family members of the late activist, say the decision, forty five years after his death, is proof that the justice system in the country still protects the rights of citizens long after they are gone. Timol’s life and legacy was honoured at the Steve Biko museum in the Eastern Cape, with the launch of the “Quest for Justice” Art exhibition.
