On the 45th anniversary of the detention and subsequent death of Ahmed Timol while under security police interrogation in October 1971, the Steve Biko Foundation launches the exhibition “A Quest for Justice”. Detailing his significant influence on the new political radicalism developing in Johannesburg at the time, the exhibition also brings to the fore Timol’s ultimate sacrifice and vital contribution to South Africa’s history.

The documentary ‘Indians Can’t Fly’ will be screened at 19h30.
